‘My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style’, Maya Angelou. The main aim of this project was to increase awareness and enhance knowledge on the difference between having a job, pursuing a career and being on a mission. The project targeted three different groups, having three different missions:

  • Professionals who assist soon-to-be parents, using their mission to assist in the best ways those
  • that will have a new mission;
  • Those who are new parents, thus assisting them in their new mission; and
  • Parents who have teenage children to assist their children in finding the right mission in their life.

The project included the following activities:

  • Workshops for new parents by professionals;
  • Sessions with post-secondary students;
  • Online workshops and follow-up one-to-one sessions for parents whose children are in Year 6 up to post-secondary schools; and
  • Conference including follow-up session, presenting research and polic recommendations targeting professionals.

The 3 Missions project has been funded through the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector supported by the Ministry for Inclusion and the Voluntary Sector.
