Social Work Service
This service is meant for unmarried mothers, fathers and their respective families. Apart from these, this service is also offered to single mothers who are either separated or widowed. This service is being provided both in the community and also among the residents of Dar Guzeppa Debono. Both minors and adults can attend with age range starting from thirteen years to forty two years. Others which are generally family members range from fourteen years to sixty years old.
The most common needs addressed are the following:
- Relationship problems
- Guidance in the process of pregnancy by addressing their health, legal issues and financial situation
- Family conflict
- Unacceptance of pregnancy
- Financial difficulties
- Moral and emotional support
- Educational issues
- Domestic violence issues
- Addiction problems
- Psychological help
- Mental health issues (i.e Post Natal Depression)
- Employment difficulties Residential needs
